
Congratulations to Justice Sabrina McKenna, co-chair of the AJS Diversity Committee, for being honored with the 2023 Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award presented by the American Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession. Margaret Brent was the first woman lawyer in America, a master negotiator, an accomplished litigator, and a respected leader. The ABA Commission established the Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award in 1991 to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of women lawyers who have excelled in their field and have paved the way to success for other women lawyers.
