With deep regret, AJS has accepted the resignation of Executive Director Dr. Sylvia Yuen, effective July 31. Since beginning her tenure in 2021, Dr. Yuen has expanded AJS’s outreach, modernized its internal systems, and developed a stronger organizational foundation for long‑term success.
We are grateful that Dr. Yuen will continue to serve as AJS’s Vice President, ensuring her insight and experience remain part of the Society’s leadership. AJS extends its sincere appreciation for her dedicated service and for the many contributions she has made to advance the mission of the American Judicature Society to secure and promote an independent and qualified judiciary and a fair system of justice.
